Hi, I'm Valerie! Joseph is my middle name, by the way. I am a Wedding & Family photographer based in Mittagong, Southern Highlands.

I fell in love with photography at the age of 16, when I first started traveling. Exploring our beautiful planet, capturing memories and creating that into timeless beautiful photos was something I was so passionated about. After high school, I decided to dive into Marketing & Communications, but my path took a creative turn in 2018. Leaving my roots in Belgium, I left my role as a marketing manager and decided to follow my biggest dream. I sold everything I had to go on a three-year world trip. (Destination wedding? Count me in!) What started as sharing travel snippets on social media turned into an award-winning travel & photography blog.

After 2 years of traveling, Australia stole my heart and marked the beginning of a beautiful chapter in my life. I found true love, decided to turn my passion in to my career and started my photography business. Together with my partner, I made the move from central QLD to the Southern Highlands in January 2023, and launched a full-service digital marketing agency called 'Valerie Joseph Creative Studio'.

My photography style is natural, candid, and slightly romantic. My goal is to document your wedding day or family moments as they unfold, capturing genuine memories and those special in-between moments. I hope my photos will bring back the same feelings even years later, serving as timeless reminders of your special moments with loved ones.
